Join Zencargo and play a key role in delivering competitive, accurate ocean freight pricing across global trade lanes. Working closely with sales, procurement, and operations, you’ll manage spot and long-term FCL and LCL pricing, build strong carrier partnerships, and use data-driven insights to optimise performance. Job Responsibility

  • Manage and respond to spot and long term sea freight pricing requests for all trades ( FCL/ LCL) in a timely manner prioritising accuracy, competitiveness and transparency
  • Assist in maintenance of all pricing related internal tools to support the ongoing business requirements
  • Support the sales teams to align pricing proposals and develop a clear framework of client requirements and routing information
  • Collaborate with operations and procurement teams to ensure seamless transition from quotation to booking
  • Work alongside the pricing&procurement team on projects to develop process improvements and ongoing automation tools
  • Source and negotiate rates with carriers, LCL consolidators, hauliers and agents to maintain competitiveness and service reliability
  • Conduct comparative cost analysis to optimise pricing strategies, maximising business
  • Analyse success of quotes and follow up with sales / clients
  • Support pricing teams with any other pricing/ procurement related tasks as business requires

  • Proficiency in Google Sheets/Excel, including pivot tables, Vlookup and other formulas to speed up the pace of data analysis
  • Knowledge of global supply chain economics and how they impact the ocean freight

  • Assist the global pricing team with spot quotations for Transatlantic and TP trades as required
  • Source and negotiate both spot and long term rates with carriers, hauliers and agents to maintain competitiveness and service reliability
  • Collaborate with operations and procurement teams to ensure seamless transition from quotation to booking whilst conducting comparative cost analysis to optimise pricing strategies
  • Manage and lead bid / tender TP proposals from start to finish, reviewing tender requirements and bid formae and working in collaboration with the the global pricing&procurement team and USA sales team
