Join our dynamic and growing team as a Pricing Specialist, where you’ll play a key role in shaping competitive pricing strategies across the Americas (USA, Canada, and South America). In this role, you’ll take ownership of spot quotations, ensuring they are accurate, competitive, and transparent, while collaborating with global teams across Transatlantic and Transpacific trades. You’ll work closely with carriers, hauliers, and agents to negotiate rates and deliver reliable, cost-effective solutions, partnering with operations, procurement, and sales teams to seamlessly turn opportunities into bookings. From leading tender and bid processes to supporting global pricing initiatives with local market expertise, you’ll have real impact on commercial success. Job Responsibility

  • Own and manage spot quotations outbound from USA, Canada and South America in a timely manner prioritising accuracy, competitiveness and transparency
  • Assist the global pricing team with spot quotations for Transatlantic and TP trades as required
  • Source and negotiate both spot and long term rates with carriers, hauliers and agents to maintain competitiveness and service reliability
  • Collaborate with operations and procurement teams to ensure seamless transition from quotation to booking whilst conducting comparative cost analysis to optimise pricing strategies
  • Manage and lead bid / tender TP proposals from start to finish, reviewing tender requirements and bid formae and working in collaboration with the the global pricing&procurement team and USA sales team
  • Assist the pricing and procurement team with local charges and routing to support global tender submissions ( including haulages)
  • Assist in maintenance of all pricing related internal regional tools to support the ongoing business requirements
  • Work on ongoing projects with pricing and procurement teams to develop process improvements and ongoing automation tools
  • Support pricing teams with any other pricing/ procurement related tasks as business requires

  • Understanding of supply chain operations in order to translate the necessary moves into a pricing quote
  • Ability to compare ocean carrier pricing to optimise profit
  • Experience with contract management and rate filing processes to ensure compliance and accuracy
  • Proficiency in Google Sheets/Excel, including pivot tables, Vlookup and other formulas to speed up the pace of data analysis
  • Knowledge of global supply chain economics and how they impact the ocean freight
