We are looking for a detail-oriented Pricing Analyst to join a wholesale distribution organization in Richmond, Virginia. This position supports pricing accuracy, reporting, and customer account setup while partnering with sales, customer service, and leadership to keep product and customer data reliable. The ideal candidate is organized, responsive, and comfortable working with reports, reconciliations, and day-to-day pricing administration in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibility:
Monitor daily pricing activity and adjust product values to keep records accurate and up to date
Prepare tailored pricing sheets and product lists for sales team members based on customer and market needs
Create and maintain customer and vendor records, ensuring files are complete, organized, and current
Process credit-related transactions with a high degree of accuracy and within established timelines
Compile recurring and ad hoc reports for leadership and cross-functional teams to support business decisions
Review margin performance, summarize monthly findings, and share insights with management
Assist in preparing commission incentive calculations and validate projected payouts for sales representatives and dealers
Provide administrative support for contract pricing and help resolve daily pricing exceptions or discrepancies
Contribute to annual inventory activities and maintain accessible pricing documentation for internal teams and customers
Requirements:
1+ years of experience in pricing support, accounting, finance, or a related administrative role
Familiarity with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general accounting entries
Experience performing account reconciliations and bank reconciliations with strong attention to detail
Ability to work accurately with reports, spreadsheets, and large sets of pricing or customer data
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple requests in a deadline-driven setting
Clear written and verbal communication skills for working with sales, customer service, and leadership
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other standard business systems used for reporting and record maintenance
