We are currently seeking a meticulous and analytical Pricing Analyst to join a dynamic Data Service Delivery team within one of Canada’s most prestigious financial institutions. As a Pricing Analyst, you will play a critical role within the Pricing Operations team, ensuring the integrity of security valuations that impact global client statements. This is a 6-month contract position starting as soon as possible, with a strong likelihood of extension or permanent conversion for the right performer. Operating out of a modern office at 155 Wellington St W, Toronto, this role follows a Hybrid work model, requiring 4 days onsite and 1 day remote. You will work a standard shift from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM (37.5 hours per week), providing essential coverage for daily and month-end valuation cycles.
Job Responsibility:
Provide expert support to the pricing team, focusing on security pricing and client instructions that impact valuations
Verify and confirm data from pricing suppliers (ICE, Refinitiv, etc.) that fall outside required tolerance levels
Research and analyze alternate sources for non-exchange or thinly traded securities to ensure accurate reporting
Respond to complex client inquiries within tight timeframes to maintain high service levels
Approve reports from centralized databases and ensure all securities are successfully transmitted to pricing systems
Liaise with Technology support to identify automation opportunities and keep Standard Operating Procedures (DOPs) up to date
Ensure all activities remain in strict alignment with existing policies and industry compliance standards
Requirements:
University Degree or College Diploma, preferably in Business, Finance, or a related field
Strong understanding of domestic and global investment markets and various security types
Proficiency in Excel (exposure to macros is essential)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for client and internal stakeholder interaction
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage high volumes under strict deadlines
Prior experience using market data portals such as Bloomberg, ICE, or Refinitiv
