Pricing Actuary

• Support the data ingestion and data transformation procedures
• Data exploration, transformation and cleaning procedures
• Structuring data science solutions to achieve a given set of business objectives
• Build and prototype analysis and Machine Learning models and support their implementation and deployment in the systems of the Company
• Model customer’s behavior based on market and competitor’s analysis
• Implement and enhance dashboards and business intelligence tools to support risk analysis and portfolio management
• Implementation of Radar Base Projects for Impact Analysis/Scenario Testing
• Implementation of the tariff (both technical and commercial), discount, UW rules, renewal process in Radar Live in accordance with technical specification provided by Pricing Actuaries, Product Development and Anti-Fraud people
• Coordination of activities to be carried out with the support of junior resources to be supervised and trained
• Doing Research and Development to find new technical solutions

• PhD or Master’s degree in a quantitative field (i.e. computer science, mathematics, physics, statistics or engineering)
• Minimum two years working experience
• Good hands-on knowledge of programming languages (e.g. Python, SAS or R)
• Hands-on experience with Machine Learning algorithms implementation
• Passion and ability for data exploration, analysis and modelling in order to design and develop systems to support strategic business decisions
• Preferably knowledge of the Tower Watson Suite: Emblem, Radar
• Fluent in Italian and English
• Ability to work independently as well as engage and interact with different stakeholders
• Ability to coordinate activities and training of junior resources
