Job Description:

As a Prevention Advisor Level 1, you play a key role in developing, implementing, and monitoring the company’s well-being policy. You will advise management and supervisors, conduct risk analyses, and design preventive measures to ensure a safe and secure workplace. You will be the primary contact for all matters related to safety, health, ergonomics, psychosocial aspects, and the environment within our organization. Additionally, you will represent the company as a permanent member of the Committee for Prevention and Protection at Work (CPBW), actively contributing to discussions and proposing improvements.

Job Responsibility:

  • Conduct risk assessments and provide advice to management on preventive measures
  • Develop, implement, and monitor a prevention and well-being policy that complies with legal standards and aligns with the company culture
  • Coordinate and follow up on internal audits and workplace inspections
  • Organize training sessions and campaigns to raise employee awareness of their roles in safety and well-being
  • Actively participate in the Committee for Prevention and Protection at Work (CPBW), presenting issues and proposing solutions for improvement
  • Liaise with the external prevention and protection service (EDPBW) and other relevant organizations
  • Provide guidance and support to employees and teams on psychosocial risks and stress prevention

Requirements:

  • Certified Prevention Advisor Level 1 diploma is required
  • Alternatively, a bachelor’s degree with the willingness to obtain the Prevention Advisor Level 1 certification
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role within a technical, industrial, or complex work environment
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Belgian legislation on well-being at work (WABO) and other relevant standards
  • Strong Communication Skills
  • Problem-Solving Ability
  • Team Player
  • Fluency in Dutch, with proficiency in English and French being a strong asset
