The Preventative Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine inspections, maintenance, and minor repairs on equipment and systems to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance. This role is critical in minimizing downtime, extending equipment life, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Job Responsibility:
Conduct regular inspections of mechanical, HVAC, and plumbing systems
Perform scheduled preventative maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, lubrication, and adjustments
Identify and troubleshoot potential issues before they escalate into major problems
Replace worn or damaged parts to prevent equipment failure
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and service reports
Collaborate with other technicians and departments to coordinate maintenance schedules
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
Keep work areas clean and free of hazards
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
2+ years of experience in maintenance or a related field
Basic knowledge of mechanical systems
