Job Description:

This position is for the Seattle and surrounding area of Washington.

Job Responsibility:

  • Maintains equipment by troubleshooting, repairing, cleaning and performing preventative maintenance
  • Maintains facilities by performing light electrical, plumbing, carpentry, roofing, cleaning, lighting
  • Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities and continuing needs
  • Ensures preventative repairs are performed cost effectively by examining records, reports operating practices and other documentation
  • Participate in training classes for existing and new equipment
  • Ensures maintenance operations by initiating, coordinating and enforcing program, operation policies and procedures
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Maintain a professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops

  • Maintains safe and healthy work environment by abiding to safety policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • 3-5 years’ experience in maintenance field or more preferred
  • 1-2 years’ experience in plumbing or HVAC/refrigeration preferred
  • Must have a valid driver’s license, clean driving record and be insurable as a driver
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple changing priorities and ability to work independently
  • Highly organized and work well under pressure/deadlines with the ability to multi-task
  • Must be computer literate in MS Access, Excel, PowerPoint and Word
