Job Responsibility:
Valve Maintenance and Repair: Conduct routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on pressure relief valves to ensure they operate effectively and safely
Diagnostic Analysis: Utilize your analytical skills to diagnose issues with pressure relief valves
Corrective Actions Implementation: Implement corrective actions to address identified issues promptly and effectively
Quality Assurance: Prioritize safety and quality in all aspects of valve servicing to prevent potential risks to personnel and equipment
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of valve inspections, maintenance activities, repairs performed, and any relevant findings
Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with other maintenance personnel, engineers, and operations teams to coordinate valve servicing activities and ensure minimal disruption to operations.
Requirements:
2+ years of valve repair, testing, reconditioning, or conversion experience
Strong hands-on mechanical skills and a thorough understanding of valve systems and components
Ability to work in both independent and team settings
Read and interpret schematics proficiently
Demonstrate commitment to continuous improvement by enhancing output, quality, and delivery processes
Knowledge of bolt torquing techniques
Ability to use measurement devices such as Vernier calipers
Adapt to working in diverse environments, both in a shop atmosphere and outside at customer-owned facilities
Clear verbal and written communication skills to convey technical information and collaborate effectively with team members.
