Job Description:

KP Staffing is hiring a 2nd shift Pressman for a large company in Mansfield Texas. This candidate will follow written job instructions and set up the press to carry out instructions. Some knowledge of problem-solving press operations and some knowledge of press functions and maintenance procedures as required. Level of work activity is usually medium, involving lifting no more than fifty (50) pounds at a time with frequent lifting or carrying objects weighing up to twenty-five (25) pounds. Must be able to perform all other positions of crew, if needed: an/or assist with other aspects of daily operation. It may be necessary to operate various pieces of equipment throughout pressroom and when needed elsewhere in plant.

Job Responsibility:

  • Safety: Must follow all safety requirements of the Pressroom and Plant plus your crew (1st pressman, feeder operator) must also following all Safety rules
  • Quality: Must be able to interpret color bars, star targets, side guide marks and slur indicators to control print quality
  • Production: Must continue to work/learn on problem solving press operations and continue gaining knowledge of press functions and maintenance procedures
  • Also perform any other duties as directed by supervision
