Job Description

The role involves setting, operating, and programming a Press brake, to manufacture components for assemblies that are required for vehicle production, projects and special orders.

Job Responsibility

  • Work within a clean workshop, with areas where people use CNC punch press, laser & forming equipment, making this a mandatory hearing protection zone
  • Work to a strict time schedule
  • Carry out additional tasks in other areas of the department, when required
  • Lifting & intricate or complex manipulation of materials & parts, there will be long periods spent standing at the workstation
  • The role could involve working unsociable hours

Requirements

  • Candidates must be eligible to work in UK without VISA sponsorship
  • A level of physical activity will be required to carry out some tasks, for example, lifting, orientating and transporting parts within containers up to 20 KG on a regular basis & load tooling up to 20 KG
