Job Description:

Brook Street are currently searching for a skilled Press Brake Operator on behalf of our client in Lincoln. Our client is a respected local engineering firm who have been experiencing an impressive period of growth and are in a position to take on a Press Brake Operator on a temporary to permanent basis due to increased workload.

Job Responsibility:

  • Operate press brake machinery to bend and shape sheet metal according to specifications. Trumpf press machines
  • Set up tooling and adjust machine settings for various production runs
  • Assemble components as required, ensuring precision and quality in every piece produced
  • Grind and finish edges of fabricated parts to meet quality standards
  • Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve production processes
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Press Brake Operator or similar role within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand technical drawings and specifications
  • Familiarity with sheet metal fabrication processes and techniques
  • Proficient in basic maths for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure
