Job Responsibility
Direct the bank’s day-to-day operations while strengthening overall performance, efficiency, and service delivery across the organization
Collaborate closely with the Board of Directors to shape long-term objectives and turn strategic priorities into measurable business results
Evaluate new market opportunities and lead expansion efforts that support sustainable growth within the community banking space
Advance revenue generation by introducing and refining banking products, customer solutions, and other business development initiatives
Guide the institution’s marketing direction and brand presence to reinforce community engagement and market visibility
Maintain a strong risk and governance framework by ensuring adherence to banking regulations, internal controls, and established policies
Provide executive leadership during the planned succession process, supporting continuity and stability as responsibilities transition
Build and mentor a high-performing leadership team that promotes accountability, collaboration, and a customer-focused culture
Requirements
10+ years of progressive experience within a bank or credit union environment
Prior senior-level leadership experience with responsibility for strategic and operational decision-making
Background in a community bank or regional financial institution is strongly preferred
Bachelor's degree is required
Demonstrated ability to lead growth initiatives, including market development and new revenue opportunities
Strong understanding of banking operations, regulatory compliance, and organizational governance
Effective communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to work closely with boards, leadership teams, and community stakeholders
