We seek a caring preschool teacher who is passionate about early education and committed to modeling Christian values in the classroom. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a love for children and a desire to integrate faith and learning throughout the day. Must be able to teach preschool-age children. Position Summary: Responsible for planning and implementing the daily routines of the preschool room, for engaging preschoolers in developmental activities, supervising the assistants, and ensuring the safety of the preschoolers by performing the following duties. The goal is to contribute to the child's healthy mental and emotional development so they can more easily acclimate to the next level of education.

Greet children and parents/guardians professionally and enthusiastically daily
Maintain a happy, sanitary, and relaxed preschool environment by following daily procedures and routines
Plan individual and group activities to stimulate growth in language, social, and motor skills
Work closely with the Director in a team teaching atmosphere and regularly share pertinent information, suggestions, and ideas
Interact with children through instructional methods, including play, music, arts and crafts, and physical activities
Develop and maintain a positive and confidential relationship with the parents of every child
Prepare and execute nap time routine to create a relaxing preschool environment
Maintain written documentation of each child's daily activities
Communicate with parents/guardians regarding the special needs of preschoolers
Attend parent/guardian, staff and conference meetings as scheduled
Participate in required training programs, conferences, courses, or other aspects of professional growth
Work alongside and delegate responsibilities among assistants in completing essential duties, procedures, and routines of the preschool room
Ensure that assistants follow the work schedule, reviews and approves their timecards
Promote and foster each preschooler's positive self-esteem and individual development toward their fullest potential
Ensure all child care supplies are sufficient and reports any additional supplies to the Director
Report any injuries, suspicion of child abuse or neglect to the appropriate party for follow-through
Adhere to all established policies, procedures, and code of ethics
Maintain a positive interpersonal relationship with all children, co-workers, and parents / guardians
Provide daily guidance and mentorship to assistant teachers and classroom aides
Ensure compliance with all government licensing and regulatory requirements for the program
Develop and maintain strong relationships with licensing agencies and be the primary contact for audits or inspections
