Job Description

At Kamaʻāina Kids, we know that great early childhood education is built on strong relationships—between teachers, children, families, and the wider community. We're currently seeking caring, experienced educators to join our preschool team in Kahului. If you're passionate about early learning and value being part of a respectful, supportive team, we'd love to meet you.

Job Responsibility

  • Help create a warm, engaging, and safe environment for young learners
  • Guide development through play, exploration, and daily routines
  • Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
  • Contribute ideas and collaborate as part of a team
  • Bring your experience and strengths into the classroom

Requirements

  • At least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED (Preschool Aide)
  • At least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED
  • 1-2 years of experience working with children ages 2 and under in a licensed childcare or preschool setting (Infant/Toddler Caregiver)
  • At least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED
  • PATCH-qualified (or eligible), including CDA (Child Development Associate) OR Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
  • 6-12 months of experience working in a licensed childcare or preschool setting (Preschool Teacher)
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. and reside in Hawai'i (or have plans to relocate)
