Intereach is proud to be establishing a brand-new Preschool Program in Deniliquin and we are seeking an inspiring Preschool Centre Director to lead this service from the ground up. This is a rare opportunity to shape a new preschool, develop the culture, build a passionate team, and deliver high-quality early learning experiences for local children aged 3–6.
Job Responsibility:
Lead, coordinate and manage the day-to-day operations of the service
Establish and embed a high-quality, innovative educational program aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework
Build a positive team culture and mentor educators in best practice
Foster strong relationships with families and community stakeholders
Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations and the National Quality Framework
Requirements:
The desire to deliver high-quality preschool education
Working knowledge of the Early Years Learning Frameworks (EYLF)
Sound understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law (2010) and the Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011)
A Diploma in Early Childhood Education or Teaching qualification as approved by the Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority (ACECQA)
Completed an approved child protection Statement of Attainment
Hold CHCPRT025 – Identify and respond to children and young people at risk (or willingness to obtain)
Current NSW Working With Children Check and First Aid (including CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis) (HLTAID012 – in an education and care setting)
Food handling Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
Current PRODA registration identification number (or willingness to obtain)
Australian working rights
Current Australian Drivers License
Criminal Record Check (arranged by Intereach)
