Job Description:

Kamaʻāina Kids—one of Hawaiʻi’s Top Workplaces—is seeking Substitute Preschool Aides to support our Māʻili preschool classrooms. (Infants through PreK). If you enjoy working with young children and want meaningful, on‑call opportunities that fit your lifestyle, this role lets you step in where you’re needed most while making a positive difference for our keiki and teaching teams.

Job Responsibility:

  • Supporting teachers with classroom activities (art, music, outdoor play)
  • Assisting with daily routines such as snacks, transitions, and clean‑up
  • Helping children feel welcomed, secure, and included
  • Adapting to different classrooms and teamwork styles
  • Creating continuity and calm for children during staff absences

Requirements:

  • 18 years or older with a high school diploma or GED
  • Dependable, adaptable, and ready to step in where needed
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
  • Must live in Hawaiʻi or be planning to relocate

Nice to have:
