The PreSales Solution Consultant partners with our Sales organization and Practice teams to craft compelling, technically rigorous proposals that align LumenData’s capabilities with client requirements. You’ll own the solution narrative from discovery through RFP response—translating complex business problems into clear, differentiated value propositions and winning strategies.
Job Responsibility:
Requirement Analysis & Mapping – Partner with sales and practice leads to gather and prioritize customer requirements (functional, technical, budgetary)
Map client needs to LumenData’s service offerings (MDM, Cloud Data Platforms, Analytics, AI/ML)
Proposal Development – Lead the endtoend development of RFP/RFI responses, solution blueprints, and technical appendices
Create executivelevel solution decks, supporting collateral, and pricing frameworks with input from Delivery, Finance, and Legal
Facilitate internal reviews and proofofconcept sessions to validate technical feasibility and business alignment
Competitive Differentiation – Conduct market and competitor analysis to sharpen LumenData’s positioning
Articulate win themes and proofpoints that highlight our unique strengths and past success metrics
Stakeholder Coordination – Collaborate with Sales, Delivery, Data Management, and Data Analytics teams to ensure proposal quality, compliance, and timeliness
Coordinate review cycles, incorporate feedback, and manage version control across multiple stakeholders
Thought Leadership & Enablement – Develop reusable proposal templates, playbooks, and solution accelerators to streamline presales efforts
Host internal workshops and training sessions to upskill sales teams on new capabilities and industry trends
Requirements:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
2-5 years of presales/solution consulting experience in enterprise data, cloud, or analytics domains
Proven track record of crafting winning RFP proposals, across Industry Verticals
Deep technical understanding of data management (Informatica), cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks), and analytics/AI toolsets
Exceptional presentation and written communication skills, with the ability to engage C-level audiences
Strong stakeholder management, project coordination, and crossfunctional collaboration capabilities
Comfortable working in fastpaced, ambiguous environments, adept at balancing multiple proposals concurrently
