The Cloud Ops Suite Sales Engineering Manager leads a regional team of VM Essentials Engineers and Morpheus Enterprise Pre-Sales Architects. This role combines channel enablement leadership with enterprise presales oversight, ensuring consistent technical messaging, enablement, and customer success across both motions.
Job Responsibility:
Direct presales operations for the full HPE Cloud Ops Suite portfolio
Translate strategic objectives into channel and enterprise execution plans
Partner with Sales, Channel, and Product leaders to ensure technical readiness
Monitor regional performance through KPIs
Represent the voice of the field in product and go-to-market forums
Recruit, coach, and develop a multi-disciplinary team
Oversee channel-driven enablement and POCs for VM Essentials
Guide the team in helping partners and customers migrate, orchestrate, and automate hybrid workloads
Act as an executive sponsor for key customer and partner opportunities
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (advanced degree preferred)
8+ years in IT infrastructure, cloud, or virtualization technologies
4+ years in presales or technical leadership
Proven experience leading either channel-focused and enterprise presales teams
Familiarity with HPE's hybrid-IT portfolio and partner ecosystem
Experience with Morpheus and OpsRamp preferred
Ability to travel up to 30% for partner and customer engagements
