Job Description:

The Cloud Ops Suite Sales Engineering Manager leads a regional team of VM Essentials Engineers and Morpheus Enterprise Pre-Sales Architects. This role combines channel enablement leadership with enterprise presales oversight, ensuring consistent technical messaging, enablement, and customer success across both motions.

Job Responsibility:

  • Direct presales operations for the full HPE Cloud Ops Suite portfolio
  • Translate strategic objectives into channel and enterprise execution plans
  • Partner with Sales, Channel, and Product leaders to ensure technical readiness
  • Monitor regional performance through KPIs
  • Represent the voice of the field in product and go-to-market forums
  • Recruit, coach, and develop a multi-disciplinary team
  • Oversee channel-driven enablement and POCs for VM Essentials
  • Guide the team in helping partners and customers migrate, orchestrate, and automate hybrid workloads
  • Act as an executive sponsor for key customer and partner opportunities

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (advanced degree preferred)
  • 8+ years in IT infrastructure, cloud, or virtualization technologies
  • 4+ years in presales or technical leadership
  • Proven experience leading either channel-focused and enterprise presales teams
  • Familiarity with HPE's hybrid-IT portfolio and partner ecosystem
  • Experience with Morpheus and OpsRamp preferred
  • Ability to travel up to 30% for partner and customer engagements
