Job Description:

Presales Architect GSI role at Hewlett Packard Enterprise's Cloud Ops HPE Software team, working as part of the OpsRamp presales team. The position involves revolutionizing cloud computing by building a large-scale, enterprise-ready platform that powers a hybrid edge-to-cloud world, helping enterprise and MSP customers control modern digital infrastructure and deliver quickly, efficiently, and at scale while keeping data secure and meeting sustainability goals.

Job Responsibility:

  • Partner with local sales and pre-sales technical teams to drive technical sales process
  • Deliver in-depth technical presentations
  • Work through complex Proofs of Concept
  • Kickoff initial software implementations
  • Communicate customer and prospect feedback back to Product and Development teams
  • Become trusted advisor for customers
  • Deliver compelling demonstrations and presentations
  • Find new ways to solve customer challenges
  • Understand complex customer environments
  • Deliver Proofs of Concept and initial software implementations

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of Solution Architecture experience
  • Understand technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, Mesos, and other container technologies
  • Have some level of programming skills (Java, Python, PHP, JSON, NodeJS, JavaScript, etc.)
  • Ability to design implementation architectures
  • Ability to build integrations using a REST API
  • IT Operations Management (ITOM) Experience is preferred
  • Strong understanding of the IT Operations market and competitive landscape
  • Strong understanding of the cloud native market
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to manage and sell to large, complex technical environments
  • Ability to deliver compelling demonstrations and presentations
