Job Description

At Vertu Honda Boston, we’re looking for a Prep Technician to play a vital role in ensuring every new and used vehicle is perfectly prepared before handover. If you take satisfaction in quality workmanship and doing the job right first time, this could be the role for you.

Job Responsibility

  • Carrying out Pre‑Delivery Inspections (PDIs) on both new and used vehicles
  • Ensuring all work is completed in line with manufacturer guidelines and to the highest possible standards
  • Working efficiently to agreed timeframes while maintaining excellent attention to detail, productivity, and safety
  • Supporting our customer experience, ensuring every vehicle leaves our site in exceptional condition and ready for handover
  • Upholding standards of quality, consistency, and first‑time fixes

Requirements

  • A recognised City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 qualification in Automotive
  • Current experience as a Vehicle Technician
  • Your own set of tools
  • A full UK driving licence
  • A professional, reliable approach with pride in your work
