Requirements

Previous experience as a Prep Technician or similar role in the automotive industry
Automotive City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 qualification
A keen eye for detail and commitment to quality
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
A valid UK driving licence

Job Responsibility

Carry out pre-delivery inspections and preparation of new and used vehicles to the highest standards
Ensure all vehicles meet manufacturer and safety requirements before handover
Diagnose and resolve minor faults quickly and efficiently
Work collaboratively with the wider workshop team to meet deadlines

A relevant formal qualification in Automotive City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3
Current experience as a Vehicle Technician
MOT license preferred but not essential
Your own set of tools
A full UK driving licence

Job Responsibility

Carry out pre-delivery inspections (PDI's) on new and used vehicles
Ensure PDI's are carried out to the highest possible standard and within manufacturer guidelines
Work to agreed time frames, and maintain a high level of productivity
Ensure exceptional customer service at all times
Quality workmanship and achieving first-time fixes
