Job Description:

Vertu Land Rover Chesterfield is expanding, and we’re looking for a Prep Technician to join our supportive and forward‑thinking team. We offer a basic salary between £28,000 and £35,000, depending on your skills and experience. This is based on a 40‑hour working week, with Saturdays paid as overtime, plus the opportunity to earn an additional over‑performance bonus. Technicians holding a nationally recognised Level 3 Light Vehicle qualification may start at JLR Level 3.

Job Responsibility:

  • Completing high‑quality pre‑delivery inspections (PDIs) on new and used vehicles
  • Following manufacturer guidelines and working to agreed timeframes
  • Maintaining strong productivity levels
  • Delivering friendly, transparent and reliable customer service
  • Ensuring first‑time fixes and consistently high workmanship

Requirements:

  • A relevant Automotive City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 qualification
  • Current experience as a Vehicle Technician
  • Your own tools
  • A full UK driving licence
