Join HSBC as a Premier Relationship Manager in Johor Bahru, Malaysia, where you will manage the bank's highest-value customers, deliver superior financial planning, and drive portfolio growth. Leverage your financial expertise to provide tailored solutions, acquire new clients, and retain business, while maintaining compliance and service standards.

Job Responsibility:

Managing a portfolio of high-value Premier customers
Acquiring, cross-selling, and retaining Premier customers
Performing financial reviews to establish and address customer needs
Upgrading and onboarding new HSBC and Premier customers
Identifying cross-selling opportunities
Ensuring service quality standards
Managing portfolio performance according to the Target Operating Model (TOM)
Leading branch-level Premier efforts to meet WPB objectives
Referring customers for wealth reviews
Maximizing growth in portfolio while meeting compliance standards.

Requirements:

A recognized tertiary Diploma / Degree qualification
Minimum of five (5) years proven and progressive financial services and / or retail sales experience or equivalent
Evidence of strong sales results in insurance and investment products
Relationship management experience with high net worth clients
Strong technical skills in wealth management
Strong communication, client focus and influencing skills
Strong sales orientation, networking and portfolio management skills
Sound knowledge of financial services products and services and the client relationship management system
Understand of business banking client segment and products and services
Certified Financial Planner (CFP) license
Pre Contract Examination - Life and Insurance (PCE) license
Federation of Investment Managers - Unit Trust license
Malaysian Takaful Association License (MTA)
Investor Protection Professional Certification (IPPC)
Clear view on how to work with Compliance, Credit & Risk and Internal Control to ensure a balanced risk operating environment
Able to communicate well in English and local languages.
