Working as part of a team of Technical Managers, you will support our Stadium Accreditation Programme and will lead on the technical/construction aspects of Premier League Stadium Fund grant projects.
Job Responsibility:
Support the Stadium Accreditation Programme
Lead on the technical/construction aspects of Premier League Stadium Fund grant projects
Support establishment of new ways of working following initial assessment of approximately 1,000 stadiums across England and Wales
Have responsibility for a set of leagues and clubs across the Midlands and the East of England
Work with clubs to ensure their compliance while delivering against objectives outlined within the new Premier League Stadium Fund Facilities Strategy
Scrutiny of the technical/construction aspects of Premier League Stadium Fund grant applications
Ensure successful completion of new and improved stadium facilities
Provide professional advice and guidance to applicants to assist with development of capital projects within the National League System (NLS) and Women’s Football Pyramid (WFP)
Support clubs in addressing Stadium Accreditation findings
Assess grant applications
Oversee funded projects to ensure construction is completed on time and to plan
Requirements:
Construction-related degree or professional qualification (e.g., RICS, CIOB, RIBA) or equivalent experience in a construction management or technical role
Expertise in construction processes
Experience of delivering facilities from inception to completion
Excellent people skills with ability to engage stakeholders at all levels and handle challenging situations confidently
Strong organisation, attention to detail, and sound decision-making
Adaptable and open to new technologies
Nice to have:
Experience in sports facility construction
