We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Premier Insurance Specialist. Wealth and Personal Banking is our new global business combining Retail Banking and Wealth Management; and Global Private Banking, to become one of the world’s largest global wealth managers with USD1.4 trillion in assets. Job Responsibility:

Conduct Portfolio Reviews with RMs, assess product suitability and market and regulatory change impact to products held by clients as appropriate, identify opportunities and manage risks
Improve RMs’ product specific technical knowledge by effective on-job coaching and training
Join RMs in meeting clients and providing technical advice and input based on technical knowledge
Collect and apply market and channel intelligence to identify and share product competitive gaps, service issues, business opportunities, and challenges with stakeholders
Provide technical guidance and support to RMs, sharing knowledge and encouraging others to do the same
Liaise between stakeholders and leadership teams on training and leads programs/initiatives
Provide support to RMs on increasing and capturing cross sell opportunities
Deliver fair outcomes to HSBC Singapore clients and ensure own conduct maintains the orderly and transparent operations of financial markets

Requirements:

An accredited Degree/Diploma Holder
At least 2 years of relevant Bancassurance Specialist experience, especially in high net-worth products such as Universal Life
Strong knowledge of the investment climate to provide sound advice in wealth accumulation, legacy planning and premium financing
Mature, confident and possesses strong presentation and pitching skills to hold an effective client conversation with RM
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across the various team members and internal stakeholders
Strong passion in training and coaching of insurance products, concept and sales with RM
Possesses relevant CMFAS papers: M5, M5A, M9, M9A, HI
