Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Forklift Operator (crown reach: stand up truck) for the essential warehouse operations with the responsibility of training and mentoring our new forklift operators. If you're a experienced Crown Reach operator with a passion for safety, efficiency and helping others succeed, we encourage you to apply! Please note that the working environment is cold. Monday to Friday: 7am to 3pm.

Job Responsibility:

  • Conduct comprehensive training for new forklift operators, focusing on safe and efficient operation of the Crown Reach truck
  • Provide ongoing support, coaching and mentorship to new team members to ensure they meet operational standards and safety protocols
  • Evaluate operator performance and provide constructive feedback
  • Operate a Crown Reach forklift to move full skids, put away products, and manage inventory within the warehouse
  • Assist with other general warehouse duties as needed to support efficient daily operations
  • Utilize basic computer skills for data entry and system checks
  • Perform tasks using RF scanning equipment
  • Communicate effectively via Outlook email

Requirements:

  • 1 years experience operating a Crown Reach forklift
  • 2 years of experience in a role related to warehouse operations
  • Previous experience with training forklift operators or similar mentorship
  • Cold tolerance
  • Good communication skills (verbal and written)
  • A supportive personality with good people skills to effectively mentor new team members
  • A strong emphasis and commitment to Health & Safety (H&S) protocols
  • Must have Crown Reach experience + valid forklift license
