Pre-School Room Leader

• Supervise and lead other staff members in the Pre-School Room
• Maintain full responsibility for the Pre-School Room following EYFS guidelines
• Keep up-to-date records for each child, including medical and developmental documentation, and review monthly
• Ensure smooth handovers to parents, providing daily updates on activities, meals, and personal progress
• Collaborate with the SENCO Coordinator for children requiring additional support, completing all necessary forms (e.g., play plans)
• Ensure compliance with fire regulations by logging children in/out of the register
• Support and implement the development of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)

• NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent (e.g., NNEB, CACHE Level 3)
• At least 1 year of experience as a Room Leader and 2 years of experience in childcare/nursery settings
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and experience in its implementation
