Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and highly technical SASE (Secure Access Service Edge) Systems Engineer to join our growing team. This role will play a critical role in supporting our sales efforts for both D-WAN (Software-Defined Wide Area Network), and SSE (Security Service Edge) solutions. You will be responsible for providing deep technical expertise to our sales team, enabling them to effectively understand and position our SASE solutions to potential customers. You will also be intricately involved in pre-sales activities, such as designing complex solutions and conducting proof-of-concept deployments.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide comprehensive technical expertise to our sales team on SASE solutions, including SSE (ZTNA, SWG, CASB) and SD-WAN, ensuring a thorough understanding of their capabilities and limitations
  • Assist the sales team with pre-sales activities, including solution design, proof-of-concept deployments, and customization proposals
  • Develop and deliver technically accurate presentations, demonstrations, and workshops to potential customers, showcasing the value proposition and features of our SASE solutions
  • Answer complex technical questions from potential customers with clarity and confidence, addressing their concerns and providing solutions to their specific security and networking challenges
  • Assist customers in both pre-sales and post-sales phases with critical escalations through the product and engineering organizations
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to ensure that our SASE solutions seamlessly integrate with existing customer technologies and infrastructure
  • Design and architect complex, cloud-delivered security and networking solutions that integrate SSE and SD-WAN components to meet specific customer requirements
  • Participate in proof-of-concept deployments, leveraging technical expertise to configure, test, and optimize solutions for customer evaluation
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest trends and technologies in the SASE space, including emerging threats, security frameworks, and networking innovations
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies and solutions that can enhance our offerings and provide additional value to our customers
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key technology partners and vendors within the SASE ecosystem

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of presales experience in SD-WAN, network security or cloud security
  • Deep understanding of SASE concepts and technologies, including ZTNA, SWG, CASB, SD-WAN, and DEM, along with hands-on experience implementing and managing these solutions
  • Proven track record of designing and deploying complex security and networking solutions for enterprise organizations, demonstrating excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, able to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences with clarity and enthusiasm
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong collaboration skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information security, networking, or a related field is preferred

Nice to have:

  • Demonstrated experience with Gartner Magic Quadrant leaders in the SSE space
  • You have formal network training and certifications that are required specifically in areas of routing (CCNP, CCIE, JNCP, JNCIE)or extensive experience designing and supporting complex enterprise networks
