Job Description

Formlabs is looking for an engineer with strong consultative skills to drive adoption of our technologies. If you can quickly understand the needs of users across industries, navigate a business environment that is evolving at lightning speed, make complex ideas seem simple to new users, and drive the implementation of advanced manufacturing, join us as a Sales Engineer.

Job Responsibility

  • Develop a deep understanding of Formlabs’ products, services, and technologies to effectively communicate additive manufacturing solutions and drive implementation with customers
  • Serve as an advanced technical expert and trusted advisor to salespeople, resellers, and customers throughout the sales cycle, from discovery to deal closure
  • Deliver engaging product demonstrations and persuasive sales presentations tailored to customer needs
  • Provide pre-sales application support and support benchmark part production to highlight product capabilities and accelerate decision-making
  • Develop custom solutions for customer installations using tools like the Formlabs API, Print Settings Editor, and more
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and adapt quickly to changing priorities in support of business goals and joint initiatives

Requirements

  • Are at your best when managing a diverse set of projects big and small, from developing customer applications to driving operational improvements in our production spaces
  • Are knowledgeable in CAD manipulation and design
  • Excel in storytelling and presenting, thriving in both small and large audience settings to captivate and convert leads
  • Possess analytical problem-solving skills with a track record of tackling brand new challenges to drive tangible results
  • Have a history of customer-facing roles, including experience in establishing trust and rapport with customers
  • Are experienced with and personally interested in digital manufacturing
  • Are a team player who loves to set up others to succeed
