Job Description

Nuventive is seeking an experienced Pre-Sales Consultant with a background in higher education solutions — specifically in learning outcomes assessment, program review, strategic planning, and data-informed improvement. This role works closely with Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, and Services to deliver confident, compelling demos of the Nuventive Platform.

Job Responsibility

  • Participate in discovery conversations to uncover institutional goals, challenges, and current-state processes
  • Prepare and deliver virtual and on-site demos aligned to customer priorities
  • Identify how Nuventive’s capabilities map to institutional needs and articulate that value clearly
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure a smooth presales-to-implementation handoff
  • Support competitive pursuits through research, preparation, and follow-up
  • Continuously grow product, industry, and solution knowledge through internal enablement
  • Represent Nuventive at customer meetings and industry events
  • travel approximately 25%

Requirements

  • Experience within higher education required
  • Proficiency in Power-BI a must
  • proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools
  • Strong understanding of the higher education sector, including familiarity with academic affairs, planning and assessment, and provost offices
  • Nuventive experience a plus
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain functional concepts to diverse audiences — both in person and via remote demonstrations
  • Experience building tailored demo environments and presentations based on opportunity-specific criteria
  • Comfortable working in a collaborative, team-oriented, remote environment
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, with a growth mindset and curiosity for evolving solutions
