We are looking for a detail-oriented Pre-Press Specialist to join a respected print and production company in Atlanta, Georgia. This onsite position is well suited for someone who enjoys refining existing creative assets, preparing accurate files, and supporting high-quality print output across a range of projects. The role centers on production execution rather than concept development, with a strong emphasis on file accuracy, layout updates, and print readiness.
Job Responsibility
Convert supplied artwork and branded materials into press-ready files that meet production standards
Revise layouts, typography, imagery, and graphic elements within existing designs to align with project specifications
Inspect digital files for formatting issues, resolution concerns, color inconsistencies, and other production risks before release
Organize and prepare assets for commercial print and large-format jobs while maintaining consistency across deliverables
Partner with production and internal team members to confirm technical requirements, timelines, and output expectations
Resolve file setup problems by applying sound prepress practices and making precise technical corrections
Monitor quality throughout the preparation process to help ensure finished materials meet established standards
Support multiple active print projects at once while keeping work accurate, organized, and on schedule
Requirements
At least 3 years of experience in prepress, graphic production, or a closely related design environment
Advanced working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and solid proficiency in Adobe Photoshop
Demonstrated experience preparing files for commercial printing with a clear understanding of print specifications
Familiarity with prepress workflows, file setup, and production processes for accurate output
Strong eye for detail with the ability to identify and correct technical or layout issues efficiently
Ability to manage work independently while collaborating effectively within a small onsite team
Nice to have
Experience with large-format printing is preferred
