Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Pre-Litigation Personal Injury Case Manager Paralegal to join our established Plaintiff law firm client's team in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in personal injury law who excel in managing cases, handling claims, and working effectively in a fast-paced legal environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage pre-litigation personal injury cases from inception to resolution, ensuring all deadlines and requirements are met
  • Coordinate and communicate with clients, medical providers, and insurance companies to gather necessary documentation and information
  • Prepare legal documents and correspondence, including claims, complaints, and briefs, using case management software
  • Conduct research and analysis using tools like LexisNexis to support case development and strategy
  • Maintain organized case files and ensure accurate data entry into management systems
  • Handle billing functions, including tracking expenses and preparing invoices
  • Oversee calendar management to schedule appointments, deadlines, and court dates
  • Assist in claim administration and complaint handling to ensure timely resolutions
  • Collaborate with attorneys and team members to support case preparation and client advocacy
  • Utilize Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Excel for document editing and data management

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in pre-litigation personal injury case management
  • Proficiency in case management software and tools such as LexisNexis
  • Strong skills in Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Excel for document preparation and data handling
  • Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently while adhering to deadlines
  • Solid understanding of personal injury law and claim administration processes
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with attention to detail
  • Bilingual Spanish proficiency highly preferred
  • Experience in calendar management and billing functions within a legal setting
