Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated Pre-Litigation Personal Injury Case Manager Paralegal to join our multi-State law firm client's team in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The ideal candidate will bring at least two years of experience in personal injury case management, demonstrating strong organizational skills and attention to detail. This role requires proactive collaboration with clients and legal professionals to ensure cases are handled efficiently and effectively. This is an in-office role.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage pre-litigation personal injury cases, ensuring timely and accurate handling of all case files
  • Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates and address any concerns regarding their cases
  • Utilize case management software to organize, track, and manage case progress
  • Draft and prepare legal documents, including complaints, claims, and briefs
  • Conduct research using tools like LexisNexis to support case development
  • Coordinate with attorneys and other team members to ensure seamless workflow and case preparation
  • Handle billing functions and administrative tasks related to case management
  • Maintain and organize calendars to track deadlines and appointments
  • Assist in claim administration, ensuring all necessary documentation is properly filed and processed
  • Address complaints and resolve issues with professionalism and attention to detail

Requirements:

  • Minimum of two years of experience in pre-litigation personal injury case management
  • Proficiency in legal tools such as Adobe Acrobat, LexisNexis, and case management software
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, especially in calendar management
  • Ability to draft and prepare demand letters and other legal documents with attention to accuracy and detail
  • Familiarity with billing and administrative functions in a legal setting
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and legal professionals effectively
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is highly preferred
  • Knowledge of personal injury plaintiff processes and procedures
