Job Description:

Select Offshore is currently supporting a major offshore wind project and are seeking a highly capable Pre-Installation Site Manager to oversee and manage daily port-based operations during the pre-installation phase. This is a pivotal leadership role requiring strong coordination, resource planning, and the ability to work closely with contractors and project teams to ensure all works are executed safely, on time, and to the highest standards. As the Pre-Installation Site Manager, you’ll act as the key point of contact on site, deputising for the Project Manager, and ensuring that all site activities align with project objectives, budget, and schedule.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead day-to-day operations at the pre-installation port site
  • Manage subcontractors and third-party contractors on site
  • Enforce health & safety standards and promote a safety-first culture
  • Ensure resource utilisation is optimised and deadlines are met
  • Report progress and site issues to the Pre-Installation Project Manager
  • Drive quality control and continuous improvement
  • Support delivery of the project within scope, time, and cost constraints
  • Foster a cooperative, motivated, and professional team environment

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5+ years of site management experience on energy, marine, or infrastructure projects
  • Strong leadership and contractor coordination skills
  • Proven track record delivering works in high-pressure, deadline-driven environments
  • Excellent understanding of health & safety legislation and compliance
  • Budget management and progress reporting experience
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States
  • Offshore wind or port infrastructure experience preferred
