We are looking for a Pre-Commissioning Lead for one of our clients.

Job Responsibility:

  • Management and follow-up on a daily basis of the Mechanical / Piping pre-comm activities execution by the GPP EPC contractor in coordination with the Construction Lead area and Construction manager
  • Ensure the GPP contractor execute the Mechanical / Piping pre-comm as per the GPP contract
  • Identify any deviation and propose correction
  • Liaising with the GPP supervision team to ensure progress execution, quality and HSE on site
  • The completion activities and collating all supporting documentation to allow the project to move through its various stages a in safe logical planned manner on the project as required by the Pre Commissioning Lead

Requirements:

  • Preferably B.Sc. in Science or Engineering
  • 10 – 15 years experience of working in field-based Construction / Commissioning environment in the Oil & Gas industry
  • Have a strong understanding of piping specifications for utilities and process system included safety systems and mechanical package
  • Have a strong understanding of rotating and static equipment, HVAC included
  • Good standard of general computer literacy including the use of Databases, Excel and Word
  • Ability to monitor work progress and report against the plan
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Good judgment and reasoning ability
  • Methodical thinker, able to apply advanced problem-solving techniques to a variety of situations
  • Good time management and the ability to multi-task
  • able to maintain an overview of multiple elements of a project, while still handling day-to-day activities
  • Ability to drive culture change when required
  • Confident working under pressure, able to quickly adapt to deal with unexpected issues
