Pre Analytics Processing Technician II

• Receive and accession specimens into the LIS (Lab Information System)
• Prepare specimens for analysis
• Perform manual processing (centrifuge, aliquoting, and routine maintenance), problem-solving functions, and issue resolution
• Assume compliance with basic regulations (temperature monitoring)
• Perform QA activities (pending log audit)
• Retrieve, sort, track and deliver specimens and verify receipts in the lab
• Perform basic clerical functions (i.e., answering phones)

High School Diploma or GED and one year of lab experience

• Associate's degree, preferably in a science related field
• Strong organizational and time management skills
