As a Practice Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. You will work closely with families, carers, and other professionals to assess needs, develop care plans, and provide ongoing support. Our services will always be joined up and you will develop robust partnerships with other teams and outside agencies; to include the police, health, schools and voluntary organisations.

Requirements:
Extensive experience and understanding of life story work with children in care
A degree in Social Work and you must have completed your ASYE
Registration with Social Work England (SWE)
Experience working with children and families in a social work setting
Strong assessment and analytical skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
The ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
Excellent time management and organisations skills to oversee your dedicated team
Demonstrate high levels of resilience, managing and prioritising demanding workloads
Be a good problem solver, supporting your team of Life Story Workers to make best interest decisions for children in line with legislative, regulatory and best practice guidelines
Ability to build effective relationships and work collaboratively with internal and external partner agencies to ensure positive outcomes for children in care
What we offer:
An incentive payment of £1,000 paid in full in your first months’ salary
Retention bonus of £2,400 per annum paid in monthly instalments
