An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Practice Nurse to support a busy GP practice in Worcester on a locum basis. Starting ASAP, this 3-month assignment offers a flexible working pattern across Tuesdays and Fridays, making it ideal for a clinician seeking consistency with adaptable hours. The successful candidate will be confident managing a range of routine practice nurse duties, delivering high-quality patient care within a primary care setting. Experience using EMIS Web is essential to ensure seamless integration into the practice.

Job Responsibility

  • Deliver routine Practice Nurse duties within a GP setting
  • Provide safe, evidence-based patient care
  • Support chronic disease management, health promotion, and routine nursing tasks where required
  • Maintain accurate patient records using EMIS Web
  • Work collaboratively with the wider practice team

  • Previous experience working as a Practice Nurse within primary care
  • Confident managing general Practice Nurse duties
  • Experience using EMIS Web
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
