An excellent opportunity is available for an experienced Practice Nurse to join a busy GP practice in Swindon on a locum basis. Starting ASAP, this 3-month assignment offers a consistent 3-day working week with flexible hours, making it ideal for a clinician seeking stability alongside flexibility. The successful candidate will be confident managing a broad range of Practice Nurse duties, with a strong emphasis on dressings and wound care, while delivering high-quality patient care within a primary care setting. Experience using System One is essential for seamless integration into the practice.

Job Responsibility

  • Deliver routine Practice Nurse duties within a GP setting
  • Provide dressings and wound care confidently and independently
  • Deliver safe, evidence-based patient care
  • Maintain accurate patient records using System One
  • Work collaboratively with the wider practice team to support patient outcomes

Requirements

  • Previous experience working as a Practice Nurse within primary care
  • Confident managing general Practice Nurse duties, particularly dressings
  • Experience using System One
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
