Job Responsibility:

  • Deliver high-quality nursing care within a GP practice setting
  • Undertake routine Practice Nurse duties such as: Immunisations and vaccinations
  • Wound care and dressings
  • Chronic disease management (as per experience)
  • Health screenings and patient assessments
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical records using System1
  • Work collaboratively with GPs and the wider practice team
  • Adhere to clinical guidelines, policies, and safeguarding procedures

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse (NMC)
  • Previous experience working as a Practice Nurse in a GP setting
  • Working knowledge of SystemOne
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to adapt quickly in different practice environments
  • Up-to-date compliance and mandatory training

  • A diploma from a recognized school and valid license with the OIIAQ, in order to practice according to provincial regulations
  • 6 months of full-time experience as an LPN/RPN (also called auxiliary nurse or Nursing Assistant)
