Job Description:

Practice Nurse - GP Surgery, Bournemouth. We are seeking an experienced Practice Nurse to join our team at a GP Surgery in Bournemouth. The successful candidate will provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care across all practice sites, working within agreed protocols and NMC guidelines.

Job Responsibility:

  • Work independently under indirect supervision and report to the Head of Nursing
  • Be accountable to the Head of Nursing and Primary Care Network for your actions
  • Deliver assessment, treatment, screening, health education, and advice to patients
  • Maintain NMC registration and comply with legal and statutory requirements
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and GPs following practice protocols and guidelines

Requirements:

  • Registration on NMC Register
  • Degree/Diploma in relevant discipline
  • GCSE/A Level equivalent

Nice to have:

  • Foundations in Practice Nurse Qualification Level 6 or 7
  • Previous primary care experience
  • Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders
