Job Description

Service Care Solutions is currently recruiting for an experienced Locum Practice Nurse to support a friendly GP practice in Stanmore. Role Details: Position: Locum Practice Nurse; Location: 404 Honeypot Lane, Stanmore, HA7 1JP; Start Date: ASAP; Schedule: 3 days per week (flexible weekdays, Monday to Friday); Rate: £35ph (Ltd); Clinical System: EMIS Web. The Role: You will be responsible for delivering a wide range of routine Practice Nurse services while providing high-quality, patient-centred care within a busy GP practice.

Job Responsibility

Delivering a wide range of routine Practice Nurse services while providing high-quality, patient-centred care within a busy GP practice
Cervical cytology (smears)
Wound care and dressings
Removal of sutures and clips
Routine adult and childhood immunisations
Administration of injections (including B12, Goserelin and Inclisiran)
Urinalysis
NHS Health Checks
Travel health advice and vaccinations
Management of long-term conditions, including Asthma, COPD, Hypertension (including 24-hour ambulatory blood pressure monitoring), Diabetes
Phlebotomy
ECGs

Requirements

Hold a valid NMC registration as a Registered Nurse
Have previous experience working within a General Practice setting
Be confident using EMIS Web
Be able to work independently while maintaining high standards of patient care
