Job Description:

An opportunity is available for an experienced Practice Nurse to support a primary care service in Nottingham, delivering spirometry clinics. This role focuses on respiratory assessment and testing, making it well suited to nurses who are confident in spirometry procedures and patient assessment. Sessions are offered on a flexible basis, providing a consistent weekly shift while allowing you to balance other commitments.

Job Responsibility:

  • Perform spirometry tests in line with current clinical guidelines
  • Prepare patients and explain procedures clearly
  • Record and maintain accurate clinical documentation
  • Follow infection control and safety protocols
  • Work collaboratively with the wider practice team
  • Ensure care is delivered in line with governance and quality standards

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse with valid NMC registration
  • Experience performing spirometry in a primary care or respiratory setting
  • Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage clinics efficiently
  • Excellent communication and patient care skills
