Under the supervision of the Director of Operations, the MGP Practice Manager is responsible to ensure efficient operations of the medical practice(s) on a day to day basis and maintains professionalism and strict confidentiality and works within the policies and procedures of UVMHN - Central Vermont Medical Center. He/she collaborates with multiple professionals to support and direct the provision / management of patient-centered care and works as a dyad partner with the Medical Director to ensure that the practice maintains the highest standards of patient care and is responsive to the needs of the patient and family as well as the organization. The MGP Practice Manager is the primary contact for providers, manages administrative staff and leads nursing staff in conjunction with MGP Nursing Leadership. As the leader of the practice, the MGP Practice Manager has the ability to create and empower teams to embrace and implement change that will improve the clinical, operational, and financial performance of the practice. The position is responsible for the physical practice location 24/7.

Requirements:
New applicants need to obtain Medical Office Management certification (aapc.com, pahcom.com or pmimd.com) within 24 months of the date of hire
Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field with 3 to 5 years of relevant leadership experience preferred
Working toward a college degree for incumbents preferred
