Job Responsibility:
Executive Leadership: Drive the firm’s overall performance across legal delivery, operations, and people, acting as the primary day-to-day decision-maker
Strategy Execution: Lead annual and quarterly planning, identifying growth opportunities and ensuring the firm remains scalable and efficient
Financial & Commercial Management: Own operational financial performance, including budgets, cash flow, WIP, and profitability
Operations & Systems: Oversee practice management, technology, and risk compliance, driving continuous improvement in all workflows
People & Culture: Lead and develop the management team, embedding a high-performance, values-aligned culture and overseeing recruitment and retention
Client Experience: Ensure a consistent, high-quality experience for every client while overseeing marketing and business development execution
Requirements:
Proven Leadership: Extensive senior executive experience within professional services (legal sector highly preferred)
Commercial Acumen: Strong capability in financial management, budgeting, and driving business profitability
Operational Excellence: Expert-level competence in systems, process improvement, and implementing accountability frameworks
Founder-Led Expertise: Demonstrated experience scaling or stabilising a founder-led business is an advantage
Interpersonal Impact: The ability to lead, mentor, and hold senior professionals accountable while maintaining a professional culture
A Bachelor of Business (Management or Finance major preferred)
