CTP is looking for an Account Coordinator to support our Public Relations and Social Media teams. In this role, you will develop a hone skill set in modern communications with a blend of social media, content creation and public relations. In addition to supporting PR programs across a range of industries – clean energy, healthcare, sports, social enterprise – you’ll help create social and digital content as you contribute to integrated communications programs. You will assist in building, managing, and reporting on effective communication programs.
Job Responsibility:
Monitoring industry news, tracking trends and key media, and preparing news scans
Proactively identifying relevant opportunities for clients, including flagging rapid response opportunities and helping to ideate story ideas
Developing and maintaining targeted media lists for clients
Assisting with developing press materials, including pitches, briefing documents, news releases and media kit information
Maintaining coverage trackers and assisting with performance reports
Conducting media and industry research to support client communications strategies
Identifying opportunities to translate earned media coverage, announcements, and industry moments into social content
Capturing visual content for client and agency social channels, including photo and short-form video when appropriate
Creating social media posts that support client campaigns, announcements, and ongoing brand storytelling
Developing and maintaining social content calendars across client accounts
Supporting the planning and execution of integrated social and digital campaigns
Contributing to light graphic design and content development for social platforms
Supporting integrated communications programs that may include earned media, social media, and digital storytelling across client accounts
Managing and communicating project timelines and details
tracking progress on key campaign initiatives
Maintaining a high level of organization across projects on assigned accounts
Owning weekly agenda updates and documenting notes during client calls
Consistently looking for ways to contribute and add value to assigned accounts, the PR team, and the agency
Communicating effectively in a verbal and written manner

Participating in professional development opportunities and maintaining open communication with manager on workload, timelines, and development goals
Requirements:
Ability to commute to our Boston office 2x/week (Tuesday and Wednesday)
A minimum of 0–1 years of experience in public relations, communications, marketing, social media, or a related field (internships count!)
Bachelor’s degree in public relations, communications, journalism, marketing, or a related field
Strong writing, editing, and research skills with a sharp eye for detail
Familiarity with media databases and monitoring tools (e.g., Muck Rack)
Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, X)
Proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and comfort learning new tools
Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and shifting priorities with professionalism
A collaborative mindset and willingness to learn from feedback and contribute to team success
Ability to collaborate within teams and take initiative when working independently
Proactive, adaptable, diligent, and hardworking, with a strong eagerness to learn and continuously improve
Nice to have:
Design experience (social content, video, etc.) is a plus, including tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite
