We have an exciting opportunity for a PR & Public Affairs Officer to join the fast-moving, high-performing RAC Press Office team. We’re famous for breakdown, insurance and now mobile servicing and repairs and have 14 years of consecutive financial growth behind us. We might be a household name that’s been around for 127 years, but we’re constantly adapting and changing to the needs of our members and the nation’s drivers. Our job is to communicate this and to keep the RAC name in the news, week-in, week-out, maintaining our reputation as the UK’s authority on all things motoring. We consistently lead the news agenda and react at pace to breaking stories. We also campaign on behalf of drivers on the issues that matter most to them. And we have a strong track record of success, regularly changing government policy and improving road safety. You’ll be doing everything from promoting our products and services to media to getting to grips with the most important motoring issues, and everything in between. This is an opportunity for the successful candidate to be part of a small team that delivers PR with a real purpose. This is a hybrid role, working 2 days a week from our Bradley Stoke office and 3 days a week from home offering flexibility while being part of a dynamic and supportive team. We offer more than a job. We offer a career with purpose.
