Job Description

We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic PR Executive to join our dynamic team in the beautiful island of Phu Quoc, Vietnam. As a key member of our Public Relations department, you will play a crucial role in shaping and maintaining our organisation's public image, fostering positive relationships with media outlets, and executing impactful PR campaigns.

Job Responsibility

  • Develop and implement comprehensive PR strategies aligned with our organisation's goals and objectives
  • Craft compelling press releases, media kits, and other communication materials to effectively convey our messages
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with local and international media representatives
  • Organise and manage press conferences, media events, and promotional activities
  • Monitor and analyse media coverage, preparing regular reports on PR initiatives and their impact
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent brand messaging across all channels
  • Manage the organisation's social media presence, creating engaging content and responding to inquiries
  • Assist in crisis management situations, developing appropriate communication strategies
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather information for PR materials and campaigns
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and local cultural nuances to inform PR strategies

Requirements

  • Diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, or Communications (preferred)
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in PR, Marketing, or Communications, preferably in the hospitality industry
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • knowledge of Vietnamese is a plus
  • Strong media relations skills and a proven track record of securing positive media coverage
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience in social media management and content creation
  • Demonstrated ability in event planning and execution
  • Crisis management skills and the ability to think on one's feet
  • Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong team player with the ability to work collaboratively across departments
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of the local Phu Quoc and Vietnamese media landscape (preferred)
  • Culturally sensitive with the ability to navigate diverse business environments
