Join Cycas now in this exiting role as PR & Communications Manager who will drive the visibility and reputation of the Cycas corporate brand and its hotel portfolio across Europe. You will manage all aspects of corporate and consumer communications, public relations, influencer engagement, and event amplification. You are a creative storyteller with strong hospitality experience and the ability to balance strategic oversight with hands-on delivery. Job Responsibility:
Work closely with the wider Marketing Team to align PR and digital marketing initiatives, ensuring a cohesive brand message across all channels
Support the design and delivery of strategic marketing plans for European hotels, contributing PR insights and brand positioning
Collaborate on digital and social media activity to maximise visibility and engagement from PR-led campaigns
Assist in the management of third-party agencies and brand partners to optimise media coverage, content creation, and campaign performance
Manage Cycas corporate communications including website content, employee spotlights, CSR initiatives, and company profiling
Develop and maintain a consistent tone of voice and visual identity across all communication channels
Support internal communications initiatives, including company newsletters, internal campaigns, and key leadership messages
Build and maintain a robust media list
manage press relations and oversee external PR agencies
Draft and distribute press releases, media alerts, and thought-leadership content
Oversee the Cycas crisis communications framework and coordinate response protocols with senior leadership and brand teams
Monitor media coverage, track sentiment, and prepare monthly and quarterly PR performance reports
Oversee influencer and brand partnerships, streamline media requests, and ensure alignment with brand standards and ROI objectives
Negotiate partnership terms and evaluate content impact through analytics and reporting tools
Develop hotel-level PR toolkits and train General Managers and on-property teams to leverage them effectively
Deliver PR trend decks and media insights to hotels
Provide guidance on hotel story angles, local PR opportunities, and brand messaging consistency
Amplify portfolio presence at tradeshows, industry events, and community initiatives in collaboration with Sales and Operations teams
Manage Destination Marketing Organisation (DMO) relationships alongside the Sales team
Support internal and external corporate events, media visits, and awards submissions
Lead PR activity for new hotel openings — including press releases, media visits, and activation planning — in alignment with the Development and People & Culture teams
Coordinate pre-opening communications timelines and launch plans
Develop and maintain relationships with global brand PR contacts
Requirements:
Minimum five years’ experience in PR, Communications, or Brand Marketing, ideally within hospitality or travel
Proven ability to manage media relations and secure impactful coverage across trade, national, and digital outlets
Experience working in a multi-brand or pan-European environment is highly desirable
Strong writing, storytelling, and editing skills with attention to detail and brand tone of voice
Excellent stakeholder management, able to influence at all levels internally and externally
Understanding of digital marketing fundamentals including SEO, social media, and campaign performance metrics
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, international environment
Team player with a proactive mindset and passion for collaboration
